We wanted to see how TUBETEC tubes would stand up to brutal elements. We submited sample tubes and section for accelerated UV and corrosion testing. The result were as expected, with slight discoloration from UV and only very slight pitting from brutal exposure to salt. It’s epoxy… clearcoating and maintenance is a must. Shown below are some pictures from the UV testing. Note the clearcoated sample handled the UV beautifully. The non-clearcoated parts suffered some degradation.
